The Prince George’s County House Delegation will hold its first meeting of the 2012 Maryland General Assembly on Friday, Jan. 13 at 9:30 a.m. in Room 150 of the House Office Building in Annapolis, Delegation Chair Melony G. Griffith announced.

“The upcoming session promises to be a challenging one,” Chair Griffith said. “But our united efforts on behalf of our county can again yield great success for our county and citizens.”

The delegation will take on 34 pieces of legislation during the 90-day session. Residents are invited to attend the weekly meetings of the 23-member delegation, which normally convenes Fridays at 10 a.m. in Room 150 of the Lowe House Office Building at 6 Bladen Street, Annapolis, Md.

Local legislation proposed by Prince George’s Delegates and Senators now available

 

A public hearing on all 2012 legislative requests is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3 at 9 a.m. at the Queen Anne’s Theater of Prince George’s County Community College in Largo.
