Meeting Minutes

March 19, 2003

 

The meeting convened at 8:15 A. M.

 

Present:  Delegates Benson, Conroy, Frush, Gaines, Griffith, Holmes, Howard, Hubbard, Kelley, Menes, Moe, Niemann, Parker, Patterson, Procter, Ramirez, Ross, Turner, Vallario and Vaughn.

 

Absent:  Delegates Brown, Davis, and Healy

 

Prayer:  Delegate Joanne Benson

 

Chair, Delegate Howard stated that this was a regular meeting and advised that the Delegation will have its regularly scheduled meeting on Friday, March 21, 2003.  She also indicated that the Delegation might have additional meetings as necessary to complete all Bills.

A motion was made and seconded to suspend the rules and add all of the bills that received a favorable report during the meeting to the consent calendar.  The following bills were added to the consent calendar:

Delegate Howard thanked Delegate James Proctor for presiding over the Delegation’s March 14, 2003 meeting.  She also thanked Gloria Walker, Gerry Eggleston and Mary McKinney for sitting in and assisting with the meeting administrative support.  Delegate Howard also acknowledged the attendance of the College Park, Laurel and Greenbelt Mayors.  Delegate Howard adjourned the meeting at 10:20 AM.

 

The next Delegation meeting is scheduled for Friday, March 21, 2003 at 9:00 A. M.
