County Affairs Committee Meeting

February 4, 2004

Meeting began at 8:30 a.m.

 

 

Ø       Chairman greeted everyone with a good morning and introduced the two bills before the Committee:  PG 404-04 and PG 405-04.

 

Ø       After an explanation of bill PG 405-04 by Committee Counsel, Charity Scott, Delegate Hubbard moved that the bill be reported favorable.  Delegate Howard seconded this motion.

 

Committee vote:  Delegates Howard, Hubbard, Parker, and Patterson voted in the affirmative on Delegate Hubbard’s motion on PG 405-04.  Bill PG 405-04 reported as favorable with the sufficient number of votes.

 

Ø       Chairman Patterson then moved on to the next bill, PG 404-04.  We had some guest speakers from the County Executive’s Office join our committee meeting to give us a better understanding of how this bill will affect Prince George’s County.

 

Delegate Howard moved that the bill be reported as favorable.  Delegate Parker seconded this motion.

 

Committee vote:  Delegates Griffith, Howard, Hubbard, Parker, and Patterson voted in the affirmative on Delegate Howard’s motion on PG 404-04.  Bill PG 404-04 reported as favorable with the sufficient number of votes.

 

Ø       Meeting adjourned at 8:45 a.m.
